“It was such a pleasure to go to Meyers PT and have Jessica bring me back to health after my total knee replacement in February 2022! Jessica is a talented and professional therapist who took me from post surgery to an active lifestyle in 5 months!
Her methods are state-of-the-art and gentle and consistent. I also loved her one-on-one atmosphere. No factory assembly line feeling at her place!
She is the reason I am back to living my life to the fullest! I am so grateful to have worked with her and will refer anyone and everyone to her, because she is the very best!
Thank you Jessica!

“I came to physical therapy intending to avoid rotator cuff surgery, regain mobility, and decrease pain. After a nasty fall, I couldn't sleep or do my normal activities -- including putting in contact lenses and washing my hair! -- let alone the Tahoe things that make our lives whole, from dog walking to skiing to kayaking.
Jessica outlined a tailored and effective treatment plan to bring me back to health that included manual therapy, strengthening exercises using equipment that I have at home, and postural and breathing changes that I never imagined could make such a difference! Jessica's manual therapy techniques were no less than transformative. I am pain-free without surgery, injections, or steroids! (Still working on increasing mobility.)
While my orthopedist directed me to the larger hospital-affiliated PT facility, I learned that where you obtain your PT is your choice and the referral will be redirected. I chose Meyers PT for several reasons. As a sole practitioner, when you go to Meyers PT, it's Jessica providing you with personalized, quality care. It's not a "PT factory," with a bunch of therapists and other people in the gym environment witnessing your treatment session. Think of Meyers PT as the yoga studio of physical therapy! And Jessica physically measures my progress before, during and after each session, allowing me to witness the effectiveness of each element of the treatment. From what I hear, this "immediate feedback" loop is unique, and for me it provides motivation and encouragement.
Jessica listens: she wants to hear about my needs, concerns, and fears. When I would explain the specific locations and movements triggering discomfort, she would pinpoint treatment to correct the problem. I am forever grateful for my improved quality of life.

“I began seeing Jessica at Meyers PT after I could no longer tolerate the aches and pains that came about whenever I did any type of physical or household activity. This was not the result of a specific injury, but over time, my activities became limited due to pain in different parts of my body. One layer at a time, Jessica addressed my issues, and I am finally able to do the things I used to do without pain. Forever grateful for her help.

“Jessica does an amazing job with all my patients. She has the right skills including manual therapy and I appreciate how she treats each person uniquely while addressing the whole problem. I’m confident in Jessica as my ‘go-to’ therapist because she ‘gets it’ without me having to even ask! Jessica gets the great outcomes I’m looking for and my patients love her.

“Without Jessica’s skill and talent as a physical therapist I would likely have sought out back surgery for relief from my scoliosis. Initially my treatment interval with Meyers PT was one to two times per week and I found pain relief and a wider range of motion that I have ever had. I now see Jessica monthly for maintenance and coaching and am thrilled that I have the skills to manager my chronic condition at home with a regime of personally tailored exercises. I always leave feeling better than when I came in, both physically and emotionally since I have hope and the ability to improve my physical wellbeing. I can’t say enough good things about Jessica, she has changed my life for the better.

“After enduring several injuries and experiencing persistent joint aches, which I attributed to four decades of intense physical activity, I came across SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment). I was thrilled to discover a local practitioner, Jessica, who specializes in this technique. Collaborating with Jessica has been transformative for my well-being as she has helped me enhance my overall stability and functional movement.
Through her expertise, Jessica has made subtle adjustments and guided me in retraining my movements. As a result, I have experienced remarkable improvements. I feel noticeably stronger, more stable, and have gained increased power and endurance during my activities. The best part is that I now enjoy my playtime without any pain or discomfort, both during and after engaging in physical exertion.
Working with Jessica has truly been a game-changer for me, enabling me to regain control over my body and enjoy an active lifestyle free from limitations. I wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone seeking to improve their physical performance and eliminate pain.
